Freeing up Nutrition information

Nutitionmaps.org is a uniform language designed to allow consumer facing applications to track and report the nutrition information of restaurant and home prepared foods, prepackaged foods and fresh foods. The language is XML based for ease of production and has a wide array of applications.

The language could be used by hospitals, personal physicians, athletes, personal trainers, diet programs, workout enthusiasts, and anyone to track and trend their daily eating with simplicity and ease. By taking information already required by the United States government and displaying that data using a machine readable language Nutritionmaps.org will open up the world of nutrition facts to application developers in mass without having to record each product, restaurant food item, and fresh produce item individually.

To pledge your support of this uniform language please see our pledge page.
